Three-Week
Meditation
Challenge

Erin's 3 week challenge is designed to introduce newbies to a daily mindfulness practice by demystifying and simplifying this broad subject, as well as offer a *sangha* (community) aspect to seasoned practitioners looking to share and learn with their fellow members.  She'll offer guidance, tools, and resources via online meetings to participants at the beginning of each week, and she'll be on call throughout the challenge to field questions and lend support.  Plus, she's your very own accountabili-buddy expecting daily check-ins.  ;) 

You'll use any meditation app (we like HeadSpace & Insight Timer) to monitor your time, then send a screenshot to Erin whenever you've completed a "sit" so she can note your progress.  Rules and regulations will be doled out via a recorded Zoom meeting on Sunday, March 31st at 1pm (a recording of the meeting will be emailed to anyone who can't attend).  

 

All you have to do is make time to sit still every day for at least 15 minutes, and you can win!!! 

 

1st place: Kneeling Pillow and 2 tickets to the 2-hour Movement & Meditation Workshop 

2nd place: Pema Chodron's "Start Where You Are" + 1 ticket

3rd place: 1 ticket 

Point System:

 

15 minutes:  1 point

20 minutes:  2 points

30 minutes or more:  3 points

Extra Credit:  Attend one of the myriad community meditation events around town - you'll get a list of suggestions at the beginning of each week.
