Everybody deserves to have a space to ground, explore, and to connect deeply with themselves. For Rachel, yoga has provided this life foundation since she first came to the practice over a decade ago after finishing a career as a collegiate soccer player. With a diverse background in the healing arts, Rachel comes to yoga with a creative, holistic perspective—grounded in understanding ourselves as part of nature and animated by the power of awareness and compassion. As a teacher, she seeks to empower students and clients to cultivate an intuitive and joyful practice that supports the unique body, lifestyle, and goals of each individual. Rachel also works with clients to support their wellness and healing through her practice as an Ayurvedic Health Counselor–using food and lifestyle choices to balance our natural constitutions, as well as a Reiki Practitioner–a form of energy healing through balancing the chakras.
As a Seattle-native, Rachel loves the fresh air, clean water, and majestic mountains of the Pacific Northwest. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing soccer, traveling, dancing, writing poetry and hanging out with her sweet dog Alma.
